Nifty close: 6200.05 Sensex close: 20852.47
Today, the market opened positive and ended the day with a marginal gain of 0.23%. The positive opening was followed with profit taking till the noon. Metal and Power stock fell while IT, Media, and FMCG stocks were up today.

Target of 6200 has been hit and profit can be booked from the long position. Tomorrow (26th Feb, 2014) is the expiry day for the February, 2014 F&O series. This may bring in additional volatility with it and if traded based on indications, profit is there to be captured.

After a gap-down opening, the market recovered to close 0.53% up for the day. Pharma and Banking stocks saw an increase while Metal and Media stocks went down today.

From the recent low below 6000 spot, Nifty has managed to bounce back over 200 points. With good support at 6120-6140 spot (Sensex support at 20680), Nifty may continue moving up. Target of 6200 spot (projected at 6130 spot in last week ) remains near now. However, traders should note that upside potential is limited with the market moving towards its February F&O expiry day.
Secondly, the interesting thing is whether Nifty can touch 6260 spot to fill the gap created almost 1 month ago.

Today, market opened a bit lower and closed 0.75% down for the day.
Media, Banking and Consumption stocks were negative while Real-estate, Infra and Metal stocks went up.

Market has faced consistent downside from the recent high of 6342.95 spot. Nifty has some support at 6130 & 6050 spot (Sensex support at 20400). It seems Nifty may head lower below 6100 spot and then after, try to stage a bounce back. Short sellers should book their partial profits now.
Today, the market traded sideways for the day and closed marginally down.
Real-estate, Infra and Metal stocks saw selling pressure while IT and Media stocks moved up today.
The results of some of the big stocks haven’t made much impact on the market. It is to be noted that buying flow has been limited during this week but to the relief of buyers, no noticeable selling activities were witnessed.

The market trend has not turned down yet. Target of 6260 spot in Nifty was almost touched this week (with the high of 6252.45 spot). Revising your stoploss for long positions should not hurt.
Today, the market opened a bit down but managed to close flat for the day.
Infra, Metal and Media stocks continued to get buying interest while IT stocks reversed the trend compared to previous day as they managed to see some buying. Auto, FMCG stocks declined for the day.

Though the market has struggled to move up, the trend still remains up and Target of 6260 spot in Nifty continues to remain on cards. One should note that selling has still not been seen in a major way. So, keeping the long positions open is not a bad idea.
Today, Nifty traded sideways for most part of the day and closed flat with gain of 0.25%.
Media, Infra and Metal stocks were able to get buying. On the other hand, FMCG and IT stocks went down for the day, these two sectoral indices put their weight to limit the upside for Nifty.

We reiterate our opinion (which was given around 5980 spot level in Nifty) that the Target for long NIFTY trade should be around 6260 spot level. The bias remains positive.
Today, the market opened in the red and lost 1.45% for the day. The selling pressure intensity remained quite on the higher side.
Only Pharma stocks were able to see some buying interest, while Real-estate and Auto stocks fell heavily for the day.
Pre-market opinion yesterday (2nd April, 2013) morning on one of the TV program remained – book partial profit on long positions around 5750 spot. Nifty touched an intra-day high of 5754.60 spot and is now down to 5664.55 spot in a day – a fall of 90 points from the predicted level.
