Stock Market Today – 14th February, 2023

After a positive morning, Nifty managed to gain 0.9% for the day. Despite the upmove of 152 points in Nifty – the market breadth was negative. Buying came into Metal, FMCG, IT and PSU Banking stocks while Real-estate, and Auto stocks were down.

It is to be noted that after yesterday’s decline – PSU Banks witnessed some recovery. On the other hand, the Real-estate sector looks weak from short-term.

Major gainers today: UPL, ITC, Reliance

Major losers today: Apollo Hospitals, Eicher Motors, SBI Life

Nifty has just been able to close above 17900 spot zone – which is a crucial short-term level. Next resistance point for Nifty is around 18050 spot. From last few days, BankNifty has turned sideways. BankNifty has support around 41000 spot zone.
