Stock Market Today – 16th December, 2022

Today, Nifty continued its downmove to close with a loss of 0.8% for the day. Selling pressure was seen in PSU Banking, Realty (Real-estate), and IT stocks.

Major gainers today: Tata Motors, Hindustan Unilever, HDFC Bank

Major losers today: Adani Ports, M&M, BPCL

After breaking the support of 18550 spot, Nifty has seen a fall of nearly 300 points. As mentioned yesterday, protecting capital on such a day should remain a priority. BankNifty has a short-term support at 43000 spot – below which selling pressure may come in.
