Indian Stock Market Report, 19th May 2022

Today, the market opened with a major gap-down and fell 2.5% for the day. Gap-down opening saw follow-up selling pressure for most part of the day. Major fall was seen in IT, Metal, Media and Auto stocks.

Major gainers today: ITC, PIIND, Metropolis

Major losers today: Manappuram, LTTS, COFORGE

NIFTY is again back near to its previous support zone and will be interesting to see whether it holds above or not.
