Indian Equity Market Report 13th February, 2013

Today, Nifty opened positive and closed with marginal gain of 0.18% for the day. After a positive start, the markets were unable to hold gains for the day as the profit booking followed later. Buying flowed into IT and Auto stocks while Real-estate, Metal and Media stocks saw considerable selling pressure.

Major gainers for the day were: HCL Tech, Tata Motors, ONGC, HDFC, M&M and TCS.

Major losers for the day were: Tata Power, Reliance Infra, Sesa Goa, Bajaj Auto and Powergrid.
